Andrena Hammond - High Performance Coach Swimming has been involved in swimming for over twenty years both as a competitor, coach and a tutor. Andrena swam at a national level and was a Scottish National gold medallist for several of her key events.

Andrena has enjoyed success in producing several Scottish and British Champions, and she was voted Sports Coach of the Year in 2001 & 2004. Andrena has been involved with several coaching initiatives within Scottish Swimming as Head Coach for both Pathway to Performance and Flying start programmes. A personal highlight for Andrena came in 2004 when she was selected by British Swimming to coach at an international stroke camp. Andrena has attained the highest level of Swimming Coaching qualification (ASA Coach) and is also an ASA Tutor allowing her to provide training courses for swimming teachers and coaches.

Andrena has been working with a Holistic Therapist for the last four years to enhance her coaching by providing a programme which will balance each child’s training programme and provide key alignment and breathing techniques.

Bill Ruddock - Assistant High Performance Coach Swimming began within the swimming environment as the president of Blantyre ASC and then as an assistant coach within the swim team. Bill then moved to join the coaching staff within Hamilton Baths ASC and also the composite team Hamilton District Squad. After several years Bill moved on to City of Glasgow Swim Team where he was both a junior squad coach and a lead swim teacher within the programme. Bill was a squad coach within Scottish Swimming Pathway to Performance squad. He later progressed to the Head coach position within the Flying Start programme. Bill has been the Assistant High Performance Swimming Coach within the School of Sport since 2005.
