Sandra Walsh - High Performance Gymnastics Coach has been involved in gymnastics for 16 years, firstly as a competitor and then as a coach. Sandra graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and an MSc in Sports Studies from the University of Stirling. She has also attained a Level 1 General Gymnastic Certificate and specialises in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics at Level 5 grading.

Sandra started her coaching in City of Glasgow Gymnastic Club where she was promoted to Head Coach of the Women’s Artistic Section. Throughout her ten years working at City of Glasgow, Sandra has produced many Scottish champions and team titles. Sandra also trained a gymnast to compete and be placed fourth on Floor at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Florica Gherman - Assistant High Performance Gymnastics Coach has been involved in gymnastics for 14 years. Florica Gherman came across to Scotland from Romania with her husband and has spent the majority of her time coaching gymnastics in Glasgow. Florica currently works within City of Glasgow Gymnastic Club as the Men’s Artistic Talent Development Coach producing elite boys currently working at National Squad Level. Florica holds both Level 3 Men’s and Women’s Artistic qualifications and Level 3 General Gymnastics Certificate.
