Ryan McKee vaults to gold medal success and qualifies for 2010

Ryan McKee has just had the best two weekends of his gymnastics career to date.  Competing in the Senior British Championships for the first time, he achieved twentieth place overall and a Bronze medal on Vault.  This outstanding result put him in good stead for the Northern European Championships. This competition was held in Cardiff, Wales with all the Celtic and Scandinavian countries competing.  Whilst the Scottish team achieved second place overall, Ryan took the GOLD medal on Vault.

His scores at both these competitions mean that he has attained the qualifying score on Vault for next year's Commonwealth Games in India.
